Wireless LAN active/inactive


Allows you to select whether to use the printer on the wireless LAN.
[Do not use LAN]
The network is disabled.
[Use wireless LAN]
Select this item to use the printer on the wireless LAN. Specify the [SSID] and [Encryption Method] values.
Hint:
Enter the same SSID for terminals that are communicating by wireless LAN communication.

Change IPv4/IPv6


Allows you to select the Internet protocol version used for the printer, either IPv4 or IPv6. In IPv6 mode, only automatic acquisition of the IPv6 address is supported.
[Use IPv4]
IPv4 is enabled. Set the IPv4 address to be used by the network.
[Get IP address automatically]
An IPv4 address is assigned automatically each time the printer is turned on. Normally, select these items.
[Use following IP address]
Select this item to use a fixed IP address.
Specify the [IP Address], [Subnet Mask], and [Default Gateway] values.
[Use IPv6]
IPv6 is enabled. If you use the IPsec, click [Modify] and specify the IPsec settings.

Printer-access restriction

Allows you to restrict access to the printer based on registered computer IP addresses.
[Disable access restriction]
Disables printer-access restrictions based on IP addresses.
[Enable access restriction]
Enables printer-access restrictions based on registered computer IP addresses.
[Allow access from the registered IP addresses]
Allows you to register a computer to be allowed access to the printer by entering the IP address.
To change or add an IP address, click [Modify].
[Deny access from the registered IP addresses]
Allows you to register a computer to be denied access to the printer by entering the IP address.
To change or add an IP address, click [Modify].
